I’m not really sure what to write today, my mind is in so many different places, most of them political in nature, some personal. I’ve encountered a lot of asshattery today, some of it unintentional, most of it purposeful though. Whether it be someone regurgitating what they heard some paid asshat say, or someone who is truly ignorant of the facts, or yet still someone who just doesn’t care. All of them trouble me greatly. It’s scary how gullible people can be. I don’t know if it is their desire to bury their head in the sand and not face reality, or that they are simply so brainwashed that they no longer possess the ability to formulate rational, logical, intelligent thoughts. Either way it does not bode well for the human race. We cannot continue to allow a select few to control our lives be it though government action/inaction, social policy, media, or whatever, it simply will not lead to anything good.
Simply put, people need to stop being sheep. Stop following the flock. Think for yourselves dammit, quit spitting out someone else’s words, thoughts, ideas. You have a brain dammit, use it. If you don’t, stop crying, moaning, and bitching about the sorry state of society. It is your fault, no one elses. Don’t sit here and complain about the other guy when it is you who refused to do your part. Don’t blame anyone else your lack of effort, your inaction. Until you can comprehend and embrace what it means to hold yourself accountable, shut your flapping gums. No one with an iota of intellect gives a damn how well you can regurgitate the party line, in fact you amuse people with your purposeful ignorance. The only thing you should feel is shame. Shame for yourself, shame for your family, shame for everything you hold dear.
